Hey mate, you’ll have to email The Roar themselves and see what the go is there because the subscription email every morning since the revamp hasn’t come my way either.

But thanks for the kind words. Glad you had something on

It’s just an opinion mate. Not demanding or asking that you follow them. But if you must know, the Best Bet I post on everyday, the Strike Rate is 43% for 2018 with an average winning dividend of $3.55

Hey mate, I post them daily at, including Saturday, or find me on Twitter

I love The Everest and the idea as much as anyone, but to say it overtakes the Cox Plate/Melbourne Cup as the premier race in Australia? Please…

The Everest has become Australia's premier race

I reckon he’s going really well Aransan. Just needs a dry track now I think. Similar grade, dry track, he can win

Behind the barriers: five bets for Sunday June 3

Mary, before the case went to court, he offered an undisclosed amount of compensation towards the three parties concerned. To say he hasn’t taken steps to repay is wrong. He has tried to, but obviously the victims said no.

The $1.6 Million sum is outrageous. He’s on an $80k contract with the Broncos. No way will he able to pay that entire sum within reasonable time. Just hope he stays on the right track and makes amends for what he did in other ways.

Ideally, I think it would be great if we heard his side of the story and how he has progressed as a person since 2015 and what he’s done to change his ways.

Matt Lodge: Take your second chance and 'pay up'

Ah my apologies. Name is Maximus. Mick Sell used to have him. Loaded with talent but not there upstairs. Looks a different/better horse now

Trial review: Caulfield January 23/Flemington January 25

She covered 2074m, the second most of the race. Humidor ran 2066, which is around 3-4 lengths. Stunning effort by horse and rider. It’s her greatest win considering what was on the line and how much work she did

Past the post: Cox Plate Day review

Looks very hard to beat does Big Duke, but more confident in Interlocuter, now with a drying track. If Trekking runs up to his jump out, they won’t beat him.

Behind the Barriers: Five bets for the weekend

Spot on Tristan re Gallic Chieftain. I think he’s the best on the card, had him around $2.50 off his last two efforts. And agree Razzar with Thelburg. He maps super and his two jump outs leading in have been outstanding

2017 Geelong Cup: Full preview, tips

Declaring him because he was the lone backmarker to make up the ground in the race, and in the worst part of the track. And there is so much upside with him, he’ll be better suited on a bigger track and up to the two miles will only be beneficial.

Past the post: Caulfield wrap

G’day Max. Yes, she was unlucky, but I think there is more upside/brilliance to come via Shillelagh, Petition and of course Global Glamour. Not sure Merriest is a Group l winner in waiting. Then again, I thought the same about Boom Time

Past the post: Caulfield wrap

Unchecked? Might want to watch the replay again. Had to duck and weave on the turn/top of the straight, still clocked the fastest final 600m of the race.

And yes, he was entitled to make ground. But he was the lone horse from the back to do that. And he was first up with enormous improvement to come.

Past the post: Caulfield wrap

Not as good as we all thought? Normal luck and he should be a multiple Group l winner. Stevie Wonder can see that.

Bled from one nostril first up and sometimes that scenario can have an effect on horses letting down like normal in subsequent races. Good example of that is Omei Sword. Hasn’t been the same since her bleeding attack.

He’s running out of excuses.

Past the post: Flemington and Randwick blackbookers

Disappointing for sure John. Posted on Twitter minutes before the race that I had to put something on Amelie’s Star because she looked brilliant in the yard. I think the Caulfield Cup is between Bonneval and an international, possibly Francis Of Assisi

Past the post: Flemington and Randwick blackbookers

Might be too soon for him this Spring NOIP, but he will make a lovely type in the Autumn. Derby written all over him

Past the Post - Weekend Blackbookers

All depends how the track plays mate. Hard track/rail out generally means those on speed are advantaged. Concede his fresh run was very good, but that Addictive Nature form looks ordinary. Might be a sleeper for the Caulfield Guineas

Behind The Barriers: Five bets for the weekend

They ran a track record. It was mathematically impossible for him to win. He would have had to run nearly sub 31 for his final 600m…can’t be done. If you saw him in the mounting yard, it was clear he was nowhere near wound up. For him to get that close was outstanding and the big grin from Michael Hawkes post race tells me it was a big tick

Randwick sees the reign of Winx continue but ‘Grey Flash’ falters

Not sure what race you were watching re The Shorts. Chautauqua was one of the runs of the day, broke 11 seconds for every furlong from the 600m. And to say disappointing? 100% wrong.

Randwick sees the reign of Winx continue but ‘Grey Flash’ falters

Yeah as I said, might come back to bite me. I just don’t see any improvement in him, and he does need to improve to be a Group l winner. Redzel gave him weight and still won easily. And with all due respect to Redzel, he isn’t the cream of the crop in the sprint ranks
